Eligibility
Businesses should be independently owned and based in Bartlett. We may include storefront, service-area, home-based, and online businesses, as well as selected local nonprofits and community organizations.
Verification
We normally compare at least two consistent public sources. Official websites, Google Business Profiles, the Village, the Chamber, and public records are preferred; Facebook and Yelp may corroborate current details.
Privacy
Home addresses are hidden for home-based, online, and service-area businesses unless the address is intentionally public and appropriate to display.
Production analytics
When enabled on the production site, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to public pages. Google Analytics may set a first-party analytics cookie, including _ga, to distinguish visits and sessions. Analytics does not run in local development or preview deployments.
We send the public page path without query strings or fragments. We do not send directory search text, contact details, form activity, or visits to administrative, preview, claim, and listing-request routes. Google Signals, advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google Analytics Enhanced Measurement are disabled.
Editorial independence
A future sponsorship or website-services relationship will never determine eligibility, verification, or ranking. Owners may correct facts, but they cannot publish directly.
Report a factual correction
If a listing contains an outdated or incorrect fact, email hello@locallybartlett.com. Please name the business, identify the detail that needs attention, and include a relevant public source when possible. We review submitted information before deciding whether a listing should change; an email does not automatically update a listing or verify its sender.
